Coach Bio

Launchpad founder Jake Rosen has more than a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, academic and college advisor, and all-around teen whisperer. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston University and teaching English in Vietnam, Jake spent nine years teaching social studies at NYC’s renowned Beacon School, and more recently, served as Teacher-Mentor for three semesters at Fusion Academy, a revolutionary, one-student-per-class middle and high school with more than 50 locations across the United States. He has also guided more than 75 students (and their parents) through the college process including ESL students, first generation immigrants, and students with learning and behavioral issues.

Jake lives in Philadelphia with his family. He loves travelling (preferably via road trip), music, nature, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
